Unfortunatley on the night chelsea were better.... They did what no other team has managed to do these last few months... Take Lennon and Berba out of the game.... I think the only thing Berba did was win the penalty.....
But i still love him!!!!!
Come on you SPURS UEFA is still up for grabs!!!!

Your talking sense SUPASPURS!!!!
Glad to see some football fans who know the game and don't always have rose tinted specs on when it comes to their team.
Chelsea knew where the main threat was going to come from and managed to stifle these threats. Berbatov couldn't get into the game (btw if it was a foul and so a penalty why wasn't Carvalho sent off?)
Robinson had no chance with the goals and unfortunately Spurs didn't have enough when they tried to get back into the game.
But all is not lost...the white and blue ribbons are being readied for the Uefa Cup!!!!! (I know it doesn't have handles!!!)

Because of the manner of the defeat. For 80 minutes it was a fair and square game but in the last few the match descends into farce. You've got carvalho rolling around in agony after first looking around to check the ball has gone out of play and Drogba making similar dives to try and get players into trouble and various time-wasting antics throughout (exacerbated by a weak referee). To a degree this is not just Chelsea's fault - though there did seem to be an influx of these antics that came with Mourinho (for instance Shaun-Wright Philips discovery of diving after moving there and Carvalho, Drogba, Robben as serial offenders etc). The blame, as always, lies with the FA. There appears no appetite to deal with these problems. If 30,000 people witness this display they will get angry. Why should I have to leave the stadium seething when I am more than happy to accept a defeat. Fan's running on the pitch, unfortunately, is an understandable, if psychotic reaction.
What about giving the referee the ability to turn over decisions if there is time-wasting or backchat? And can we please have some retrospective action against serial offenders!

Well, I think these are just emotions you go through when you strongly believe you can make it and do not.
Teams like Chelsa and Man U are the kind of teams that you need to take advantage of whatever mistake they make or else you are dead. I was 100% sure Chelsea would beat them from their performance in the Stamford Bridge.
They corrected all their my stake to prove Spurs they have more world class players comparing to them.
Thanx!

Spurs fans are some of the most loyal and should be commended. Tottenham put up a grewat fight over two games against Chelsea, however, there were outclassed by Chelsea and deserve to go through.

Won't hear me whining dude - see previous answer today - heads up to Chelsea - did what they had to do - stifled Lennon and Berber - then snatched two Great goals - credit where it is due - I for one will support Chelsea thru to the Final and hope they win it - if only to stop Man Utd and Ronaldo getting their hands on it....
From a Spurs fan - GO CHELSEA
ADDED: SUPASPURS - mate - friend - buddy - supporter of the right North London colours - Man U before Chelsea - no please say it ain't so - it can't be - London before the others - by the way, I don't class Watford as London - anyway, heads up - SPURS charge on for UEFA glory instead - screw the FA CUP.

I agree with you, we shouldnt be moaning about the match, what was there to whine about? except maybe that carvalhio shouldnt of stayed on the pitch! but chelsea beat us fair and square, we should have taken the chance when we had it at Stamford bridge, instead of moaning, develop the club so we can beat the f*****s next time!

I'm a neutral who watched that game and I have to say Chelsea thoroughly deserved to win. They seemed to be in control for a lot of the match and so there was only one possible outcome. As you said, they were two beautiful goals. That Shevchenko goal caught me totally unawares - I thought at first he was trying to cross the ball. My initial reaction was to say: "you jammy git!". Then when i saw the action replays it became obvious it was just a world class strike.

I think Spurs supporters are whining simply because it is difficult to swallow defeat! Get over it and get used to it - there a lot of setbacks that are coming your way guys.
Oh, and concerning UEFA forget it guys - and don't even dream of qualifying for UEFA Champions League, it is not for the average teams.
