click on start > run type msconfig. Press ok. Click on Startup tab. Uncheck names of those programs there that you do not need at startup. (These settings are reversible, if you uncheck something and later decide that it is necessary at startup; you can always come back and change the settings again.) Press Apply. Press close. Click on restart to reboot the computer. After reboot system configuration message window appears . Check the box that says do not display this again, and press ok to close the box.

Either the RAM of your computer is too slow, or your operating system is not original. My friend, ask your nearest hardware vendor for a new RAM or a free checkup. You can also right-click on the My Computer Icon and click Properties. If your RAM is very much below 256(if you know that your RAM is 256, written on the CPU), then you can ask for a checkup.

2.Ccleaner from www.ccleaner.com check issues also.
Use them regularly.
In pgm (1) you can see all the startup programs and uncheck what you don't need. Leave Microsoft pgms alone !

Check your Startup Files and See what is causing this in MSCONFIG...and Task Manager(Alt+Ctrl+del) and view what is taking more mem of CPU in processes!!

Do fragmentation of your hard disk partion C and remove all unwanted programmes though add remove programme of Control Panel.

get more memory. find out what your cpu takes and check out any computer store or online to buy. many websites let u put in your cpu's make, model and gives you type of memory.

go to strat>run
then right msconfig
the window will open.......
go to startup tab.....
you can uncheck some of programs that load on windows startup........
you can uncheck all but don't do it for your anti virus if you have.
