In the AD&D universe they have magic metals like mytheral (sp?) I was wondering if anybody knew of other metals or gemstones or the like from other fantasy sources. Please state from where it is from (like which novel or whatever).

AD&D has mithral and adamantium (per just about ALL of the rulebooks. Grab one and you'll find them mentioned).
As for gemstones and the like, each game setting has their own variations on gemstones and precious (or magical) metals. Best bet there is to check the setting in question.
Any kind of list that would be attempted would be a MASSIVE undertaking - what are you looking for, specifically? Maybe that will help us to focus in on items that better fit your requirements...?
