I think that the Cavs are being underestimated right now, and it is a perfect place for them. If they were like Dallas, always winning, than it would be expected from them, but this way they are the underdog, and yet they have the capability to get to the very top. I think that they will totally explode in the PO, and really kick some major behinds :)))

I think your timing is good as they've been playing well the last 2 weeks, especially proving they could win in fashion without Lebron. Believe me team are starting to take them seriously. However the key here is the support cast. That's how you win championship.Magic had james Worthy,Jabbar and others important contributors. Jordan had Pippen, adding later Rodman to kill opponents. Shaq had Kobe in Lakers, and Wade had Shaq last year. San Antonio had Duncan & Robinson, now they have Duncan,Parker and Ginobili completed with a wonderful deep bench. Look at the Pistons [Wallace,RIP,Billups,Prince] all of them can take over a game for the team and lead it to victory. Same for the Suns or the Mavs. One Superstar (Batman) and a Lieutnant (Robin). Right now the Cavs had not found the right Roobin. James is more Superman than anything else. He cannot do it on its own.
That's the key. They need a worthy support cast, people who would be able to take over when Lebron is out of the game - physically or not. That's where the all Larry Hughes comes in. He needs to be a better player in the long run. It's about consistance. Once they will have that, I believe the road to the Finals will no longer be long.

Production in the playoffs.

The Cavaliers are essentially the same team they were last year. Last year everyone thought the Cavs could go far, and they made a valiant effort, taking the Pistons to 7 games. But can they do it again? They do have enough pieces to make a good run, especially in the East.

I think they can do at least as well as they did last year, and they might even make the Eastern Conference Finals. If they do, then the Cavaliers will be serious contenders, and more free agents may want to go to Cleveland to help Lebron. That is, if Lebron stays around himself ;)

I think they need to win the ACC Tournament for a couple of years, dominate the ACC for a year or two. When they had Ralph Sampson, many years ago, they were a feared team. Now, they aren't as feared, but they're still good.
