Why does it need windows? What will you see if you look through them? Does the PC want to look out them? Have you put a camera on top of your PC so now it wants to see what is out there in the big WWW? If you put windows in then you'll want curtains and you have to clean them.... nah, leave the windows out. It doesn't need windows, maybe some Linux would be good.

Do you mean windows or an OS in general? An OS basically uses DOS for you. It executes programs like Internet Explorer without you having to type C://Programs/Internet Explorer>Execute, or something like that. So yeah, your computer can run without an OS, but it'd be really hard to do anything.

in years age PCs work whit soft wares like NC and DOS, Ms DOS.
after that Mr.Bill create a windows.
Thank you so much Mr.Bill,
because working with NC and Dos was difficult and complicated.

unless its really old no. used to DOS was the platform that your computer used to run. also known as the operating system. These days, windows itself is the operating system. An operating system (OS) is a set of computer programs that manage the hardware and software resources of a computer.

yes. There are programs other than windows that do the same basic thing, and there is the base computer language that people write the programs in.

they do alredy its in the bios then you boot it up it looks for a secondary operation system like linux ,windows or a comandable version of dos
