Okay, I have a perfect solution for you to remove the baby sick from your carpet, fill a bucket half full of hot water then add one cup of White Vinegar to the water and sponge this onto the spot where the baby was sick being careful not to over soak the carpet as this could drive the odor down into the pad below this will cause it to continue to smell if you do, then blot up with a white towel to avoid using colored towels as they bleed colors onto the carpet, then sponge the vinegar mixture again onto the spot once more, then again blot up excess, then you must rinse with cool clean water, blot then rinse once more then blot again, that it, your carpet will be fresh clean and deodorized even disinfected and will even be bright again, then all you do is cover the spot over night with a thick towel weighted down with a heavy object and by morning you simply take off the towel, then sprinkle with a little Baking soda allow to sit for a few hours even a day then just vacuum up, stain and vomit odor gone! Good Luck !
