Why the combination of pepsi and mentos is fatal? It can kill someone, but what is the reason?

It is not fatal and will not cause any health problems. That thing with dropping mentos into a 2 liter bottle of pop has to do with the surface area of the mentos. After you have eaten the mentos, that issue is gone.

It's not fatal. It just causes some heavy duty regurgitation when gas bubbles come back up
