Would it be a good idea to......?

(I am being very sincere, so please don't misunderstand what I am presenting. I don't want to be blasted for being misunderstood.)

Create a monthly Magazine of good taste designed to exploit Filipina women in a positive light through beauty and fashion, career and professionalism, Success stories from Filipina's from around the world that inspire and encourage others.
Creating topics and articles that catch the attention of Filipina's of all ages. This magazine will give the international community a better insight of Philippine culture and beauty.

Believe it or not and I don't know if people recognize it, Filipina women can be a front line representation of their country if they are exposed at the right angle.

With a strong marketing canpaign it could work.
It have to be a magazine of good taste and interest.

Tell me what y'all think, is this thought a waste or could it be a boost for travel and tourism?

This is only an idea in the making.
Open for many ideas to attract interest around the globe.

I think it's a good concept, but I would the strike the word "exploit". Whether it will suceed or not, nobody knows. The best guarantee would be to make sure that there is a market of people that would actually buy a subscription for this magazine, as well as have a list of serious advertisers who believe you can garner these subscribers.
Also determine who your writers and distributors would be.

not sure I understand; Who will this magazine be aimed at? Filipina women or non-filipina men and women? Here in the Netherlands we have hundreds of magazines all fighting for a little bit of marketshare, none about filipina women I think though, and unless they're nude I doubt if there will be very much interest in such a magazine here, sorry...

But I think a magazine FOR filipina women living outside the filipines (spelling, sorry) ABOUT filipina women would definitely be a great idea as there a re quite a few of them all over the world I think... I'd even help you set it up if you like

I don't like the word "Exploit". Its a dirty word. You could choose the word "create" a magazine that will inspire holiday makers to visit Philippines, etc. I think your idea is good but you have to choose politically correct terminologies or perhaps for a time approach other well-known magazine to commission your project. Good luck with your endeavours.

It sounds like a wonderful idea. I especially liked the fact that you stressed tastefulness in the design concept. I believe your idea could in fact help to show the younger filipinas that they can make a better life for themselves.
