I could rant all day and night and weekend about this topic and it is a GREAT question but I will have to shorten it. I will ask a question to you. Do you like people to like you? Most people say yes and then the quite intelligent (which is above my head) get it. People like for themselves to match someone or something in some sort of way so they can connect to that someone or something that make them feel special. There is some saying about flattery but it doesn't come to mind right away and I hope I gently touched the topic and actually answered your question.

Well there are a lot of influences in life like models and actors and people look up to them and do as they do.........some people just have no character so they adopt one..........
