Wash your hands a lot.
Don't be kissing all over baby's hands and face.
Consider breastfeeding so baby gets antibodies to whatever you have.....it's not too late to try.

I agree with the above statements... if you are still able to breastfeed, you should... even if you pump and give from a bottle, your baby will be receiving very valuable antibodies that will help him/her fight off nasty cold germs... especially now since you have a cold, you have more antibodies. I breastfed my son all whie I had a sinus infection and two colds between the time he was born and the time I stopped breastfeeding. If you're unable to, just be sure to wash your hands a lot, and try not to breathe, talk, or kiss on your baby's face until you're feeling better. Keep your baby's hands clean as well. I would recommend keeping antibacterial wipes on hand. Those always come in handy with children of any age. Get well soon!

wash your hands frequently
try not to put your face to close to babies.
try not to kiss baby, i know that part is hard
keep a sanitizer handy
breastfeeding does not prevent colds. breastfeeding gives your baby the antibodies to fight colds and other illnesses but breastfed babies do catch colds and other viruses.

It is fine for you to care for your baby. Just take precautions that you normally would: wash your hands before you handle your baby (this is how most colds are transmitted) and before you prepare your baby's bottle. Don't kiss your baby on the face and you could try washing your baby's hands too after you handle them because they inevitably will end up in his or her face and mouth. Don't handle your baby's face uneccessarily, but don't stop loving your baby!

If you were breastfeeding you would be giving the baby antibodies. It's not too late to relactate!
Wash your hands frequently, and avoid coughing/sneezing around baby as much as possible. Your baby has a very immature immune system.

Use Vicks vapo Rub on yourself at night to break it up quickly.
But when handling the baby you might wear a surgical mask to keep from breathing germs on he or she. Plus of course the hand washing.
