One possibility is taht your computer is just "slow"
You might have a lot of JUNK running. You can open the Start Menu and click "Run" and type in "msconfig" and press enter. n the startup tab, delete the junk from there, you can also get rid of some of the services under the services tab. Be careful though, I would recommend getting someone who knows about computes to help you.
you can delete temporary files to help free some memory while you are running certain programs. You do not have to delete files...the only take up space which shouldn't affect the performance of your computer like that. Run a defragmentation, to speed up your hard drive when finding files.

There are a few things you can do to speed up your system. Try defragmentting your hard drive, delete the files from your temporary directory, clear your cache and removed programs you don't use from the 'Startup' folder.
If you need help on doing any of the above tasks, Yahoo search should be of help.

I take care of my cookies with the ZA, saving those i would like and deleting some thing else. all of the above ! Also you can look at increasing the RAM in your machine as this can help improve performance. If you really want to get nasty with it, format the hard drive and reinstall your o/s and apps.

try deleting unwanted files, esp music and pcitures as they use alot of memory, run a virus scan, defragment your computer to free up some memory...if that fails take it to a specialist!
