If you go over to another country isn't it usually correct to follow/respect their cultural differences and religions? And in the middle east do they expect tourists, who are white women to wear face veils?
If so then, shouldn't it be fair for these people to follow and respect our culture? I'm not racist, I'm just trying to see this from a different angle.

Yes, you should definitely respect the culture of the host country, but I think many of them see themselves as British so they now define what the culture is.

Yes, they should respect the ban..

BUT!!
as far as i can see the Muslim faith is not at fault here, the fault lies with the people who insist that we have to be "multi-cultured" why??
I Believe that the followers of Islam, Christianity and all others have the right to pray as they wish, but if we went to an Islamic country we would be forced to adhere to the laws in place, without apology or reference to them being racist..
But, in the UK everyone is so scared of being branded a rasist that the PC brigade have turned us into a laughing stock.. This is the only country that i know of that you are called rasist for flying a Union Jack!
All the Muslims i know are quite offended that they are seen as the problem, they think its nuts to have so little respect for the traditions of this country..

Put it another way... If i walked into the bank with a balaclava on the shutters would come tumbling down and i I would be in the nick quick as a flash.... and what about the guy who was wanted for serious charges then fled the country to somalia.... he put his sisters clothes on and the head and face get up along with her passport...hey presto.. he got away scott-free. I think I have made my point.

damn right they should respect our culture if they live in our land. i never understand how a foreigner thinks they can move to another world and expect everyone to just allow them to spread their customs on us. ridiculous. if i lived in a muslim world and choose to come to America, you better believe that i will be burning my veil and buying some jeans

I'm a non-muslim person. Why can't I wear a gas mask when I go to school/work/shopping etc.???? At least my gas mask would have some reasonable function to do...like protect me from car and bus fumes....

If they are living in our country the should live by our rules - no-one forces them to come here.
