From previous question, this is interesting - a lot of you are therefore saying my wife is being unfaithful. However she is in the house all day with our daughter, and we cant go out together as we dont trust babysitters. So in order for her to go out she has chatted to guy on the net and made friends, and he has taken her round all the night spots and paid for everything. Then she comes home to me and has sex with me. Her philosophy is a guy will give her a better time, plus its free. Before I met her she was a "hostess" so she is a professional for getting money out of guys without giving any emotional attachment back...You sure you think its unfaithful, or maybe its just clever !!

your excusing her behavior, it can turn into her being unfaithful, because what she is saying is the other guy can give her more, eventually don't u think she will leave u and want to be with him? how do u know there is no emotional attachment going on? theres nothing clever about this, if your married it should be all about u and her and no one else.

I think it is odd that you would not be able to go out for dinner drinks and dancing with your wife because you can't seem to find someone to entrust with your small child, but you would let a complete stranger found on the internet take your wife out for "date" night. and my bigger question is what is it that you are insinuating by placing "hostess" in quotations. It just all seems very shady to me. I say, put the effort into finding a responsible party to care for your child that your wife seems to have put into finding a man to show her a good time. That way the two of you can go out once or twice a month and enjoy that together.
Like i said it is all a bit screwy to me.

If you know whats going on and you are OK with it, I don't see it as cheating. Cheating would be behind your back. Do you trust her? If you do there should be no question she is being faithful to you. I could even say clever like you stated in your question, she gets a free night on the town, & you get all the benifits when she gets home.You both seem to win. If this is bothersome to you, talk to her and tell her how you feel, if she loves you, there should be no reason not to come to a compromise with you.

If you're okay with this. Then go for it. But just remember this can bite you in the butt. What happens when the person she's out with wants to go a little further for his money? If it's just friendly then maybe your wife should pay for her dinner and drinks herself. Then no one gets the wrong impression? Just my opinion.

I don't think it's that big of a deal, I go out with my male friends often, my partner has no interest in going out.
I know I'm not doing anything I would be ashamed of and he knows where I am and who I'm with, he also knows I'm coming home to him.

She better be careful using guys like that, one of these days one of them could get the wrong idea and insist on a "payment" from her. While you're home, she could be fighting him off and end up loosing that fight.

I think it depends on how you define unfaithful. If her dates had your consent, then you can't charge her of being unfaithful.
