How long after losing your mucus plug did you go into labor? I lost mine yesterday (not sure if I lost all of it or just part of it). I am due in about 4 weeks. I called the doctor and they said nothing to worry about. I know that if the baby came soon everything would be fine but just wounder how much time I have until labor starts?

There was a little bit of red tinged mucus(blood). I am only asking since I thought I had 4 weeks left I still have things to get ready, like wash all the clothes and blanket and get my bags packed and get my nursing bras.

I lost it about three weeks before my son was born.

You lose it when you start to dilate...which can be anywhere from 4 weeks to 4 hours before you give birth.

Some poelpe lose it in bits from 30 wks onwards others don't even notice if it does go.....
It isn't any sign of going into labour at all and as long as you don't loose blood in the mucus no need to even tell any one.
The last weeks drag on and on and sorry to disappoint you but you still have your 4 weeks to go - if not the 2 after as well!!!
Best of luck xx

You could go into labor any minute or any day. It depends on when your water breaks or your contractions start. If you go to the hospital they will keep you. They can break your water and start labor for you. I would worry about infection since the plug is out and now germs can get to the amniotic fluid. I would go to the hospital, forget what the Dr's office says. You won't go home without a baby. Good luck.

If milk is being expressed from the nipples she would be at any place from one million to ten days earlier than her hard work begins. It might be a well proposal, if you'll, to get your puppy to a vet so he can do an x-ray or sonogram. That will exhibit you what number of doggies she's having and the way a long way alongside of their growth they're. It's additionally a well proposal to begin taking her temperature (with a rectal thermometer) two times an afternoon till she whelps her dogs; as soon as within the morning and as soon as within the night. A "common" temperature for a puppy is round a hundred and one-levels. The mom puppy's temperature will almost always drop to round ninety eight-levels 12 to 24 hours earlier than her doggies arrive. When the puppy is in early hard work she's going to usually pant, speed, and do "nest constructing" behaviors (scraping up paper and blankets to make a nest for herself). When she's in rough-hard work, she would possibly stoop her again and grunt with every contraction.

If you have 4 weeks to go don't worry about it. If you start to feel contractions call your doctor or go to the hospital. Most important...You have to trust your Doctor. Relax everything will be fine...
