Royal Mail keeps losing letters I send in the post. It doesn't matter if I send it Recorded Delivery, Special delivery or normal mail they can still lose it. If I try to complain or claim compensation they are obstructive and Postwatch appear powerless to help. Has anyone found a reliable and cost effective alternative for an individual, not a business, to post letters and very small parcels around the UK?

In the UK there is NO alternative when sending domestic and a lot of business post.

I'm afraid not yet! Have you considered filing your claims via the Small Claims Tribunal?

Use a carrier pigeon, just make sure it doesn't get eaten by hawks on the way.
