i am 16 and i am gay--i assume you all figured that since i am using this side of yahoo to ask a question--anyway i am in a relatively small town and ther is really no gay community. i have only done it with a guy like once and i really liked it but he moved away. i want to have a long term relationship with someone but there is no one here! what is the best way to meet people on the internet? where can i go to meet other guys my age? Remember i am a teenager; that does not mean im all about the no pants dance--just mostly.(lol)

This is a good start. I would also check myspace and browse the area in the browse category by state, city, country, what have you. Gay. com is also a decent site when it comes to chatting with guys. You will always get some freaks, but also some cool peeps to chat too also.

Youve made your first step. Seriously at 16 a long term relationship? I would think twice about that, bad personal experince being that young in LTR. I would say find age appropriate places on line get to know people find people near by to hang out with, depends on how small a town u are.
I came from a town of about 5000 when i was growing up, so i know where your where coming from and found about 3 my age i became good friends with and through out the years learned of more and even more when i finally left.
I would say hold out a couple of more years you be 18, and legal, and in college then thats where the fun really starts ;)

I'm from a small town too. Believe me, there are more gay people out there than you realize. Check out Yahoo personals, I did and in my town of 8000 there were some guys I recognized but never would have guessed were gay. Amazing considering that not all in town even use a computer. Be patient, your time will come.

since you are a teen i would say no to the online dating.
try getting out of your town now and then. do it just for fun, and if you meet someone then good, if not at least you enjoyed yourself. however, you don't need someone in your life.
