I want to have an LCD screen displaying the price of gold in real time, connected by wifi to internet. But i don't want to use an entire computer for it. I.e. i want to be able to move it around and use wifi hot spots. Strange idea i know but does anyone know how i could possibly build it?

I don’t know about real time but, if there is a web site that constantly updates gold price, all you need to do is open the page via Internet Explorer and click on the refresh icon when latest price is needed. No doubt someone could produce web page code to do this every second.
