Everyone is going to think and feel as they do, there are many misconceptions, I choose to accept the fact that I too can put my pants on one leg at a time...just as they do.

that Mennonites = Amish and as such Mennonite women should wear prayer coverings, be submissive to men and drive a horse and buggy.
we are not the same as the Amish!
I have a freaking college degree for heavens sake AND God help the man who decides that I need to be subservient to him--he will have one hell of a fight on his hands!
meek women--pshaw! I am a fiesty, independent NON AMISH mennonite!

several things come to mind...
-they believe the age gap between me & my man is a reason our relationship will fail eventually...(couldn't be farther from the truth)
-they actually believe the weatherman knows what hes talking about..lol
-they believe our children are safer(from kidnappers & molesters) being from small towns
-everyone thinks their children are better than anyone elses

That people are naturally kind and forgiving.. i find that this trait and quality in humans is one that must be at times pulled form deep inside..

That you think you know someone just by looking at them.looks can betray so judging a book by it's cover is not right.

this is a tough question...but what comes to mind, for what it's worth, is that most around me think they're 10 feet tall and bullet proof
and for those that haven't heard this...it's from a C & W song....not to be taken literally, but figuratively

That just because I am overweight....I am a slob. pigish person that does nothing but eat or lay around....
Actually, I am not...I am a VERY clean, hygenic person who doesnt eat much or often....I actually have a medical problem that is causing the weight...

everyone thinks that there are people out to get them, knock them down, and make their lives hell.... well, there are those types of people, but if you take a look around you would find that there are good peeps too
