Does anyone know of anything he can do to prevent this, he has tried going to the toilet before he goes to bed and not drinking anything when he gets home.

He should either see a doctor and get something prescribed or use adult pampers.

stop the drinking! or wear a device that babies wear to warn when they are about to wet the bed. I'm serious!
Or use twin beds and have him do his own changing the bed and laundry if he is not willing to cut out the drinking for some hours before he retires.

He may have to do some experiments and think about adult diapers until he reaches a conclusion. Or speak wtih a urologist

He could wear diapers to bed.

Why not have him wear diapers? We could use Depends Overnite.
