Young one, your health is like the fecal matter of geese. You are spread very thin, and soon your body will betray you if you do not correct this behavior. Do not treat yourself like a 45 year old Russian street walker. The bad habits you make now will surely bring dishonor to your house.

Seems to me that you should be missing out on alot.
Drinking starbucks on a regular basis yes indeed can be an addictive issue, however am more concerned about a 13 year old rambling about at 4AM.......does your area not have a curfew? Does not say much for law enforcement in your area. Not to mention the worth of your parents in this circumstance.
The biggest danger is sleep deprivation not to mention the small amount of rest as a whole you are allowing your body and then non proper nourishment....... for your young age you are not providing your body with even the most basic of needs for proper development and survival.
Know it sounds like a yawn but breakfast is what jumpstarts the rest of your day - your food type may vary but still provides fuel for your body for development, thinking and action.
Seek out and make at least one friend so that you may have someone to spend some restful time with during lunch period but should at least have some fruit and a good beverage to continue fueling your body and mind for the remainder of the day.
With the little effort you are giving your body of care would be curious to see what your grade levels are in regard to how your mind is functioning.
You can well be causing future damage to your organs and bodys development.
Not everyone is a breakfast eater but our bodies need nourishment and care.

I don't think you really need anyone to tell you that this is damaging to your health...you must know it is!!!
I don't think parents who give their children a bedtime are 'controlling' because you are the perfect case of what happens when a child is allowed to set their own bedtime.
You may feel you are getting away with your life style now but it will most definitely catch up on you. It is NOT healthy.
I'm not blaming you as I think that most kids would live like you if given the chance...I'm just disappointed for you that someone is looking out for you and showing you how to lead a healthier life.
Why not make an effort to put your life back in order. Your body may take a little while to get back into a normal rhythmn but once you do you may be surprised how much better you feel, and how much energy you have.

Don't worry about the coffee, I've been a coffee drinker since I was 5 years old. However, the lack of sleep will effect you. Your brain is running at full tilt all day directing your eyes, coordinating your muscles, interpreting sounds, identifying smells, and so on. Add to that the work it does at school, trying to learn, solving problems, interacting with people.. Well it gets quite a work out. It needs sleep, it needs down time or it will start to malfunction. Break this habit of staying up too late now. If the starbucks is keeping you awake, don't have one after 3PM. Or make it decaf. Let your brain sleep, it needs it!

First of all you sound like a lovely child. You've got your head in the right place, you know where improvements can be made in your life.
First, stop buying Starbucks. Learn to make your own drink, then later you can impress your friends with your own drink-a-la-Lyndsay.
Start to wake up early and have a good breakfast or at least a cup of tea and toast, because breakfast is an important meal.
Try to talk to people at your school, you can start by making eye contact and smiling, a hello here and there.
From your question, I think you are intelligent and smart, you already know what to do to make your life better.
I wish you the best.
Good luck and make friends.

this is not a healthy lifestyle and the older you get, the worse it will become for you.
sleep deprivation causes you to not be alert in school which causes your grades to suffer. i'm going to assume that since you're 13-you're a freshman in high school. these next 4 years of school will be the most important ones b/c they set the tone for what college you go to and what type of job you get in the future.
breakfast is the most important meal of the day. if you are in a rush to get to school and don't have time to make breakfast. try buying some nutrigrain bars or cereal bars that you can just grab and go with. poptarts work in a pinch but they aren't a great food to eat all the time. fruit works really good too!!
if you are uncomfortable with the whole lunch thing then bring things to snack on during the day. pretzels, wheat thins, carrot sticks, trail mix,nuts-all of these things are healthy for you and easy to tote around in your backpack.
the starbucks isn't a great concern right now but when you get older it will be. their drinks are full of empty calories (no nutritional value) and sugar. try cutting back gradually to only having one 1-2 times a week.
develop a schedule for bed. i work nites and have always been a nite person since i was a kid but when i was in school (espcially during college) i climbed into bed-tired or not at 11p and i stayed there. the only reason i got up was to pee. by laying there i eventually fell asleep and after a few weeks, my body was adjusted to my new bedtime and i was able to get the sleep i needed at night.
your young so healthwise it won't be as damaging to you now but in the near future it could serious harm your health not to mention your grades in school which are SO important. when i started college with my 3.8 gpa, only sleeping 4 hours per night and also skipping meals, i thought college would be no different. i learned quick that this would no longer work and i changed my lifestyle and graduated with a nursing license, a 4.0 gpa, and an honor society member on top of it all-i couldn't have done it w/out taking care of myself.
you have time to turn things around and make your lifestyle better for your health and your grades!!
good luck to you

you rush in the morning because you dont have time? what else do you have to do in the morning? you are getting up too late because you arent going to sleep early enough. you dont need to sit with people to eat lunch. coffee is ok in moderation, your body obviously doesnt handle the amount of caffeine you put in it... there is an obvious answer to the question, dont drink coffee, go to bed earlier, and eat breakfast and lunch. there is no "getting used to it" basicly what will happen is you will one day get very sick, because this kind of behaivior weakens your immune system. i used to do the same things when i was in school, it totatly had a bad affect on my health. you dont see it so much when you are young because your body has a tendency to take it till it crashes. you will wear out your resiliancy fast. its kind of rediculous, you are your own problem. you control all of this. you want change then go ahead and make it. your life is not a mess, you just dont have a good schedule or a good diet, wich is solely up to YOU.

Your parents aren't controlling and wouldn't be even if they set a bedtijme for you. At 13 you know for yourself this is a damaging lifestyle. You need to get on the right track nutritionally as well as physically. Get a life and don't be a loner.

Moderation on everything is important including moderation itself. You know that this is not very healthy so cut down on your caffeine. You are asking a question that you already know the answer. Now, do something about it, cut down on coffee and make some friends by joining some kind of club.
Caffeine is a legal drug so use it with caution.
