NVQ's and university Cerf?

I was wondering if anyone could answer this question for me?.

I wish to work in childcare, but i do not have an NVQ, but i do have a Level one pass from the open university and i am studying a level 2 course now. So my question is can i use my university cerf in place of an NVQ?.

A University Certificate/Degree is equivalent to NVQ4.

nvq's are on job quals and they don't mix you should get a start and you will find that you will have covered a lot of ground if not more than the nvq course. good luck in this field as it can be testing
