Humans are born underdeveloped and it is the only way they have of communicating when they are first born. Think of it this way...........got gas in your belly and don't know how to turn over or go to the medicine cabinet for a rolaid.?.........just ate 3 hours ago but for some reason you have that belly ache again but can't go to the fridge by yourself? and last but not least.........suddenly you are forced into some strange new world and the only way you feel even remotely comfortable is when you are cuddling next to that nice warm object that rocks you and talks to you and rubs your back?
