im like all scared all the time- and my heart beats fast- and im thinkin im having a heart attack- i go to .E/R doc says im ok- nothin wrong- tells me to exercise- when i do i get scared cos my heart beats fast- now i wanna kno- whats the fastest i can make my heart go with out dyin or somethin-

I agree with Caz1968 with the exception she has too many "seconds"!
The heart will automatically increase heart rate with excercise or any exertion for that matter. So you may not have any problem at all!
And yes, use your primary care doctor and not the ER unless you have a dire emergency! They charge you a fortune for what the doctors office can do for a fraction of the cost! It also drives up health care premiums when the insurance companies reveiw the statistics!!!! Not a good choice!

Well in all the medical and exercise literature and classes that I have encountered, the human heart is based on the maximum of 220 beats per minute. (such as the equation for finding your heart rate max and percentage of heart rate max: 220 - your age = y)

first of all stop going to the ER unless you have an emergency. second find a primary doctor who can manage your case. second go get some therapy to find out the source of your anxiety. and lastly learn some meditation and relaxation techniques, try yoga, tai chi or reading or just getting some good sleep.. take care
