What do you do when something you really need has disappeared? Do you keep looking in the same places over and over , or wait for it to turn up?
It's making me crazy.

Yeah but if I stop and think for a minute I realize it is in a coat/jacket pocket I wore the day before, or left on the front seat of my car. If I didn't tie my keys to my purse and have 2 other sets around I'd be in big trouble...I'm easily distracted on arriving home carrying in packages and dogs greeting me.

Therefore, looking for it in the same places only proves your sanity status... *ducks and runs*
I normally leave it - things like that have a way of turning up when you stop looking.

Look for it until exhusted, then take a breather for a day or two and then look again. REPEAT until found. I am presently doing this looking for my leather neck scarf. Used in cold weather riding my harley. I had it and now can't find it.

hahaha well duh, once I find it I'm gonna stop looking!!!
Try stupid places like in the fridge, in the bathroom, under your bed, in the washer or dryer.
Unless of course its your mind and then if you find the secret please let me in on it as mines been missing for a very long time and its driving me crazy as well.

I stop looking for it for an hour, then I look for it again and I find it in less than 5 minutes (My Grandmother taught me that, it really works).

I'll search frantically for it for about an hour and then give up. It's normally when I stop looking for it that it will turn up.

i always end up going back to the same place time and time again, but usually it pans out its for a reason and leads me to where it is

sorry to hear that , I've been there & done that ,
it drives me CRAZY too
I keep looking & then get my family to help me look too , in time we find whatever it is .
PS-look under you couch cousions ( that's where we find most of our lost things)
