there is always a black guy, black girl (melinda), rock star edgy type (Gina), white guy (blake), small town sweetheart (Haley), someone you'd never think would have made it this far (sanjaya), quesitonable but talented (chris sligh), shy guy (chris) and a wholesome family guy type (phil). did I leave anyone out? look at the previous seasons and you'll see a lot of similarities in the final 24 and 12 contestants. Does the competition sound rigged?

Sure seems that way, doesn't it. May just be coincidence but the producers of that show are extremely smart and know they need to appeal to all types of audiences. Still, that theory is shot to heck when you consider the Taylor Hicks win last year. Give me a break!
