Thank goodness you have your computer/laptop with you and can get internet access! How about sending an E-Mail to the emergency services so they can come and resuce you? Perhaps E-Mail a locksmith too to take off the lock so the emergency services can get into you? At least you won't starve, if you get the locks done first, you could then order a takeaway with home delivery and they will be able to deliver right to you - perhaps while they are delivery you could ask them to move a TV near you so you have something else to do?

The washing may be faulty and are youshould be aware of 'The eletricity at work Act' This states that all people using elecitcal items over 50volts have to check the item before use. My advice is to check all your electrical items including and this would include the wire and plug before you use it. We could help you but there is no address to send the fire service too.
Hope you do not die or have horrendous injures or suffer from permanant psycological affects.
Great question keep it up (and that includes the machines)

This is a very serious problem! Have you tried whistling for you cat to come and take the machine off your head?

Perhaps if your hands are still free and not numb yet you could grab your mobile phone and call emergency services? The local plumber might help, too.

Although, is it a capital offence to keep your washing machine in the kitchen instead of in a laundry? Perhaps you shouldn't call for help in case you are fined....

Well, if you survive the ordeal, then please let us know what you did! I would hate to think that this could happen to somebody else and then they wouldn't know what to do! I mean - what if their internet was playing up and they couldn't send in to ask??????

ROTFL!

First, I would turn the machine to OFF, and see if that works. If not, turn it to spin and stick your arm into the basket and maybe it will sling you out. Try selecting LIGHT LOAD and maybe it will be easier to move off you. If all else fails, turn the water temp to WARM and, since you are in the kitchen, throw in a few packages of yeast and perhaps it will RISE off of you.

How did you manage to post this question with a washing machine on your head? I wouldn't worry, it gives you an excuse to have a nice relaxing day in the kitchen

Try to struggle to the nearest deep river, throw yourself in . This will give you the added incentive to remove it yourself.
