click tools on the bar at the top of this page, then internet options, then clear history

For Internet explorer right click on IE icon on desktop, left click on properties, then Browsing history, delete.
For Firefox, Tools, Clear private data. (on any page)

CTRL+H often does it. Also, in XP, you can go Control Panel - Network & Internet Connections - Internet Options to clear history, temp files etc.

u need to delete its stored cookies in computer by default -
same in internet options under temporary internet files - delete cookies.

for internet explorer on pc right click the icon on the desktop, properties, delete browsing history. u can look at the settings and delete cookies and temporary internet files there too.

Tools - Options - Clear Browsing History.

Alternatively go for a program like - Cleandisk or History Kill as these will kill your index.dat file aswell
