How would/Do you go about becoming a model?

My family said they're going to back me up all the way I just need to know HOW to start.
I'd love to be one and think maybe I have the potential to do so,
Can anyone help me please :D

1)Find a legitimate agency near you, smaller agencies will transfer you to a larger one as you become more successful

2) pay a photographer to take your pictures for your portfolio. You will need at least one headshot and one full body shot.

3)contact the agency and schedule an appointment. You will need to mention your age, height, weight, measurements, hair and eye colors, dress size, and shoe size.

4)be on time for your appointment and present yourself as if you are about to be photographed, the agency wants to see what they are supporting.

5)good luck and even if the first time fails try again.

1. Find someone who is really good at photography (I am really good at photography).

2.Get some really nice photos done of yourself (I can do really nice photos).

3. Get the photos put into a portfolio (file).

4. Take your portfolio around to as many agents as you can find in London, the biggest city nearest to you or Some other large UK city and try to get them to take you on.

5. Get taken on and become a model.

It all hangs on how beautiful you are as a package (did I say I can do photos). You have to be prepared to be confident when you are photographed, regardless of what you are not wearing (did I say I can do glamour photos). So get yourself some nude photos done and go from there (did I say I take photos).

Seriously, be VERY careful, there are all too many people that WILL take advantage of you....and NO, I'm not really one of them.

You need the objective view of your Family and you need to be very careful of an industry that basically sells sex and where the real dangers come not from the obvious quarters, but from where you would never suspect.

Course if you don't mind getting ALL your clothes of to be photographed, you will do well (did I tell you I take photo's)? That however doesn't mean that this is what you should do, just what you should be prepared to do.

I would first think about what type of modelling you want to do. For example, there are people out there that simply do HAND modelling, such as wearing a ring or watch etc.

Once you have decided then look into it more and speak to relevant magazines and ask if they could recommend agents they have worked with in the past.

Why bother??
Seriously, just go to university and make something really useful of yourself. What is the point to being a model anyway?? The risks are too high and the potential for success is wayyyyy too low. And the whole profession could drop off the face of the earth tomorrow and the world would not care or suffer (quite the contrary, actually). Don't you want to contribute something to this world with your profession? Just my opinion.

I suggest type in model agency and the area where you live into a google search, go to the local careers advisor or find a website such as zoo , nuts or FHM and ask there.

If all else fails date a professional footballer :)

you first need to go to an amateur photographer get some pics done against a plain background, put them on the internet on modelling websites, that look descent eg.one place models.
Photographers if they like your look will get in touch with u via the mail on these websites if they would like to work with you,work out your rates and take it from there.

well all the best to you get a agent, make a portfollio of pictures of you you can have this done profesionally, but please promise me you wont go to extremes to be thin like anorexic or bulimic these are terrible disorders no doubt your already happy with yourself but there will be those out to hurt you even emotionally, ignore these people, these will be jealous ,you be you and not what others want you to be, again i wish you all the very best of luck

go into a salon and see if they are doing any hair photo shoots if yes then ask to get some copy of the phots with you init obv then take your pics t an agancy!

starve yourself, sniff LOADS of coke, throw mobile phones at people, get a junkie boyfriend (preferably one that feeds marijuana to penguins.) go into rehab, come out and start back at square one. THEN you will be a successful supermodel, and a very famous one at that. good luck :o)
