The name isn't specified. If your referring to the part that says bells on bob tails ring...it's name isn't Bob. That's describing the horse's tail.

Are you thinking of; Bells on bob tails ring? Thats not the horses name

Dashing through the snow
In a one horse open sleigh
O'er the fields we go
Laughing all the way
Bells on bob tails ring
Making spirits bright
What fun it is to laugh and sing
A sleighing song tonight

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

A day or two ago
I thought I'd take a ride
And soon Miss Fanny Bright
Was seated by my side
The horse was lean and lank
Misfortune seemed his lot
We got into a drifted bank
And then we got upsot

Oh, jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh yeah

Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh
Jingle bells, jingle bells
Jingle all the way
Oh, what fun it is to ride
In a one horse open sleigh

PS Spooky.
You are scary.

Some say "Bob". I believe his real name was "Pedro". He was a true workhorse. Rumor has it he evaded border patrol and changed his name to "Bob" to avoid deportation and then became legal by marrying that high ho' Silver. Since, he has passed on but if I am not mistaken, his family legacy includes some Colts in Indianapolis, some Mustangs with Ford, a few fillies in Philly and a little chihuahua that prefers Taco Bell.

I don't remember hearing the horse's name in that song. Could you be thinking about a different song?
