i have a 99 blazer 3 button dash, auto tranny. the other day i hit 4hi nothin..tryed 4lo and it clunked into it. now i cant get it out. when you turn the car on or start it ,something clicks constantly for 2 min then stops and says 4lo. ihave no idea. even a transmission place didnt know. i think its a computer or encoder motor. someone said to try reversing it and hit the buttons...done it and it just flashs until i hit 2mph in nutral and it goes back to 4lo i have a semi low tire on the rear passenger side, would that have something to do with it its like 15psi while the rest r 32?

the reverse trick usually works on a 4x4, if not i'd look at the tranny/ transfer case linkage and see if it is binding somewhere.
or try disconnecting the battery for a few min. and let the comp.s reset. take off both neg and pos. cables from the terminals. hold neg and pos. cables together for about 15 sec.(when they are disconnected from the battery!). this should reset all the computers on the vehicle. should have bought a toyota!
