I need help looking for an artist that is fairly colourful, and works with the collage technique.

my topic is "family portraits"...and I was hoping to discover an artist that uses collage so I am able to create interest in a standard portrait...

for example, draw a stamp with a family member in, with lots of other things on the page...

if that makes sense?

I always struggle to find artists!!!

your help would be much appreciated.

The artist does not have to be "well-known".

David Hockney did lots of photomontage pieces, using a collage of photos or polaroids. He used this technique for portraits.
Try Richard Hamilton, Kurt Schwitters, Pablo Picasso and Georges Braques but they are not particularly colourful.
Henri Matisse created work from torn pieces of paper, these are very well known and extremely colourful (Blue Nude).
Hope that helps!
