Of course blood is a complex mixture of cells and liquids. Red blood cells are produced by cell division for example within the marrow of large bones. Plasma fluids likely are produced by glands. The supply of red blood cells is self regulating and production increases after blood loss. Dehydration may reduce the supply of plasma (and possibly red cell production). Drinking adequate water promotes good health including normal replenishment of the blood supply but drinking a large amount of water would not produce a large supply of blood (like mixing koolade). The kidneys excrete excess water restoring balance.
