i really want to buy a Xbox 360 however there are a few things that confuse me .is it reallt better to have a preuim console? and how much would it cost to py for the 'live' feautre for one year . Can i talk to people without paying for live ? wjhat are the bare essentials i need to just play ? how hard is it to set up with the whole wireless internet thing? is it true they break after a year?
any help is much appreciated . oh and if you know anywhere that sells them cheap .

Buy the premium package, as it's cheaper that way than to buy the core system and the accessories separately (wireless controller, Xbox Live headset, hard drive). Xbox Live costs around $50 per year to subscribe, and you do need Xbox Live in order to talk to people--which I think is well worth it, considering how much content to get access to with Xbox Live. Wireless internet is not difficult to set up, and the instructions packaged with whatever product you choose will walk you through installation step-by-step. And, as long as you take good care of the equipment, it will last plenty longer than a year. Hope this all helps, good luck and enjoy!
