I read the play but I was actually confused over wheather they (or any one of them) had good intentions actually while slaying Caesar? Or was it that they were just showing good intentions to win other conspirators and actually killed him for power?

brutus had good intentions, he was convinced by the letters he got the previous night that caesar was too ambitious and did not have rome's interests at heart. he saw it as saving rome from a future autocrate and from rome becoming a kingdom.
on the other hand, cassius did it for greed and because he was power hungry.

Most of the conspirators wanted to kill Caesar because they were jealous of his power, only Brutus truly believed that killing Caesar was for the better of Rome.

they stabbed Caesar because he grew too ambitious. he was threatening the "status quo" in Rome. the ordinary ppl loved him. he was one of the poor's greatest benifactors. it was the ppl w/money(suprise, suprise) who saw him as a threat to their deathgrip on power. if he became emperor, their power and influence would be gone, and w/it, any monies gained from bribes sent by ppl who wanted their bills to get through.
