I am 24 and engaged so its not a bad thing that has happened. It just happened so quickly. I have only been off birth control for a month or so. Very much shocked.

False positives rarely happen. Sometimes women take the test early, get a positive and then wait a week to take a confirmation test. The second one on occasion does come out negative because the pregnancy may not have taken. That is often why you hear about false negatives, they really aren't, but some people don't know that this happens to women all the time and they think they had a false positive with the first test.
I would wait a week to confirm, but treat your body as though you are pregnant until you take another test or get to a doctor to confirm. I would even get the over the counter prenatal vitamins and start taking them. Most OB/GYNs like the first prenatal visit to be at 6-8 weeks. Congratulations!

Pretty much.

Have you got someone that you trust that you can talk to?

Those things sometimes are NOT accurate, but usually they are ok.

So why dont you talk to someone. At least get some advice on birth control.

Its very risky in today's day and age to be having unprotected sex anyway.

I would do 2. I am usually in shock after the first one and need to do a second "just in case" the first one was wrong. It never was!!!!!!
