So I wanna record a song for my friends b-day hes gunna be 18, the only problem is that I ususally start with a song name and go from there but I cant think of a good one so does anyone have any ideas. Its just gunna be and the piano, and it has to be really beautiful!!! any ideas????

or use the name of something you like doing together if you want it to be a humerous song. like a song about you two going shopping, or if you need help, or going to gigs, the cinema etc and write a song of the typical things.

You want to CREATE your own song? Definitely don't start from the song title. The title is soooooooo small, and the song will be much longer. If you'll be playing the piano, just PLAY!! If you have skill, then do it! A song title will come to you. I have no clue what kind of "beautiful" song you want, so I can't just give you a title!
Hopefully you aren't talking about a song that already exists...

If it's really serious then don't put the word 'friend' in it, on the other hand, if it's a bit of a larf then use the word friend in the title...
Dunno why but i think that all the the good friendship songs with the word 'friend' in the title have been well and truly used up!
