In America perhaps its unusual but if it is working for you then no worries.
Most TV nowadays is trash in my view and that opinion is shared by many others I know.
I don't turn on the tv myself unless I have something specific to watch.
So if it works for you then you must have a life and other pursuits to keep you occupied!!!

I don't think it's unusual at all. I haven't watched much television myself lately, and I think it's because I'm tired of just hearing stories that aren't real, and I'm tired of hearing about everything sad that's in the news. Whenever I sit down to try and watch TV, I fall asleep because I'm bored. I think perhaps you're restless for something more than just passive entertainment.

I've watched a couple of History Channel programs, and it's my job to keep an eye on Fox News or other news channels overnight, but I have not watched any regular TV programming.

It just doesn't interest me all that much. Guess we're both a little unusual.

Nope thats not unusual. I have been busy in college so no time for tv. A month without internet would be unusual.

Unusual? Probably. That big of a deal? Nope.

I've gone months at a time without either TV or Internet...you get used to it just as easily as you get used to being online or watching TV.

I never watch tv [I use the internet or watch dvds] I just watched tv tonight for the first time in a long time - it was really strange so many ads my head hurt and I felt bombarded.

So many shows about murder/killing/crime that was disturbing.

Overall the quality of it all - full of the most tirvial unimportant crap gameshows etc - i cant believe people watch it.

Unusual (uncommon that is) but I think it's great! Too many people waste too much time in front of the TV. Better things you could be doing!

very unusual! how did you do it? some hints please and quick. It is such a waste of time. Why do we do it? Ah ha you've been on the net instead. I am not sure if this is really an improvement. There are not even any commercials for time out or to help you energise and switch off.

Yes - absolutely.

Bravo for you though - I hope you've found something productive to do with all the free time you must have..........or are you writing from the middle of the Amazon, where you can't get Sky Sports ?
