G'day,

In most cases, you will only need to to IELTS test to apply to Australian Universities as an indication of the level of English proficiency. For Master programs, generally it is average 6.5, with no individual bands less than 6.0. However some courses (eg laws and health) requires an average band of 7.0 with no individual bands less than 6.0.

I strongly suggest that you take IELTS test instead of TOEFL if you want to study in Australia, since IELTS is the only one accepted by the Australian immigration when you are applying for student visa.

Hope this helps. Good luck for your study and welcome to Australia :)

To study a Masters Degree course in UK and Australia, GRE scores are not mandatory. Hence one need not write GRE test. But prospective students are required to have a English knowledge-fluency certificate, for which one could take the IELTS test or the TOEFL.

For Australia, IELTS is compulsory. GRE is only for USA and at the most Canada, not for any other country. so dont worry, you need to have good grades or percentage in bachelors degree.

For australia GRE is not mandatory, but if u submit the GRE scores along with the application, i think the chanses of an admission is greater.

All the best :-)

Normally Australian universities won't ask for GRE scores. If you have one, that is good. Check the university web sites for details of admission guidelines.
