Thomas Jefferson penned the "all men are created equal" line in the Declaration of Independence as revolutionary propaganda, meant to stir up rebellion rather than to be literally accurate. Jefferson really didn't have Blacks in mind at all when he wrote that. He was thinking more in terms of Englishmen and American colonists, equals in fact, therefore should be equals before the law. When leftists assert that the phrase indicates some sort of Jeffersonian recognition of a Black-White racial equality, they are lying.
Racial differences are too obvious not to notice, and they are too important to ignore. But the social pressures that have been brought to bear against "racism" are so powerful that people do pretend they don't notice and they do ignore them... until their own, personal selves are endangered by their pretenses.
If racial differences were all socially unimportant, they could be marginalized. But some of the differences are profound. It might not matter which race has the greater abundance of fast sprinters or good swimmers. The vital work of civilization can be carried on without those skills. But what of racial differences in intelligence? You can't marginalize those.
How many of the world's top scientists are Black? Not many. A MUCH smaller proportion than their abundance in the population. Blacks are not only inferior swimmers, as a rule they are also inferior thinkers. That fact kills dead any possibility that Blacks and Whites can coexist in the same society, under the same laws, with anything close to a general comity - a fact that Thomas Jefferson also noticed.
Although some Blacks can compete with Whites intellectually, they are too few to matter. As a rule, they will forever require Affirmative Action, depend upon public charity, engage in both crime and litigation, conduct organized social agitation (including riots), whine, complain, demand preferential treatment, and try to convince themselves that their shortcomings are White people's fault.
That's why the Blacks, and the leftists who support the Blacks, constantly fabricate, endorse and promulgate the myth that Blacks are the intellectual equals of Whites. The falseness of that myth is the reason you are seeing so many TV and internet ad-images which show Blacks using computers, engaging in electronic repair, speaking to the public on behalf of NASA, and so on. Such ads serve the secondary purpose of supplying a subliminal counter-influence to the weight of real life experience. (Presumably, their primary purpose is to sell something.) It's all part of the leftist racial illusion that Blacks are mentally equal with Whites.
If Blacks were honestly to recognize racial differences, they'd have to admit that they don't belong among us, that they are here with us only so they can suck up goody, that they oppress Whites more than they are oppressed by Whites.
They can blame us for enslaving their ancestors, which is approximately true - though really the enslavement was done in the first place by other Black Africans, the transportation hither was provided by Jewish slave merchants. But in a fair assessment, that blame can only go so far, which is to say, not nearly as far as Blacks usually want to take it. Many White groups, including the Irish, the Celts, the Slavs, the Russians, the Balts, etc., have been enslaved, sometimes for centuries. But none of those groups has failed to bounce back quickly once the chains were off; none of them uses a history of slavery to excuse continuing failure. Formerly enslaved White peoples have big brains, so they don't fail, so they don't need to make excuses.
You're just not going to get around the political significance of smaller ******* brains. The 150 cubic centimeter difference of brain volume - 1350 cc for Blacks, 1500 cc for Whites - is a fact of nature, cannot be amended by law, cannot be safely ignored or denied for long. The fact that our society does ignore and deny it is a social dysfunction that nobody wants to identify because its beneficiaries protect their precious "racial equality" myth with reprisals against "heretics."

All races are not equal to each other. This is not to say that there are races superior over the others. Just some races have qualities that are best for their environment.
You have to understand that humans have been evolving as soon as they left Africa to populate the rest of the world. They developed new immunities to diseases, adaption to other environments, different animals and climate. People who had occupied Eurasia had the most immunities to diseases, in fact 80% of the world population was in Eurasia, which meant more interactions, trade routes, stories being traded. People who lived isolated such as the Aborigines of Australia and Native Americans were not trading knowledge with the rest of the world and also were vulnerable to diseases.
The people of Africa did not really need to create civilizations such as Europe as they had plenty of animals to hunt and gather, so they didn't need to begin farming. On the other hand, the Europeans were in a cold Ice Age Europe. The intellect in respective races has changed due to disparate environments and selection pressures over thousands of years.

Biological differences are not what's meant by "All men are Created Equal..." It is statement of origin. We are all human beings. You would agree with that, right?
So what if so and so is "better" at such and such? Black sprinters..white swimmers. black basketball players, white hockey players..black authors..white authors...the list is endless for one or the other. You can find examples to suit your point. What about the world's fastest distance runners: white or black? Bet you don't know.
Americans, more than any other country recognize and embrace the differences of the human skin; why else is the country overrun with immigrants, athletes, foreigners....everywhere?
Because people around the world know they'll get the fairest shake going the United States Of America...where any kid can grow up to be anyone he chooses to be.
God Bless America!

i dont think that people ignore differences no matter how much it is elaborated on, i agree we are different so why ignore it right???? but i think more often then not that is what gets people in trouble is embracing the differences, people get offended and sometimes take it to the extreme i think that is why people tend to ignore the difference in races, but im sure you have noticed that every tv show, is like a majority white and then you see the one black kid in the background, or a majority black and they try to fit a white guy in there somewhere. its just ridiculous now a days, people trying so hard to ignore racism but the truth is it will never be eliminated and i dont think everyone will be able to embrace it no matter how hard we try, thats just how the world works and its unfortunate

All PEOPLE are created equally, yes. And it is scientifically proven.
In 1999 it was established that there is no "race" as we know it. There is only nationality and ethniticity, but the scientific community established that we are all so genetically equal that we are all the same race. So to continue to distinguish by race isn't just racist it is factually wrong.
Secondly, using althetics to compare people is silly, alot of it has to do with location and geographics. You might as well say, well Canadians are obviously better with hand-to-eye coordition because they evolved on ice palying hockey. Or Americans are the smartest country because they "evolved" into the most internet-connected country in the world.
Now, I am not saying we shouldn't celebrate cultural differences, they are unique and beautful, but to compare bodily superiority is to go back to the the 1940's...

It's nice to hear someone else say that!! All races, creeds, and genders have strong points. Instead of using all of us for what we can do really well, we call them racial stereotypes and badmouth each other. We all have great points that can be used to benefit the world. I see them every day and wish all of the world would as well. Good question!!!

You might notice that it says MEN. Women had no rights when Constitution was written.
All people are created equal, but are not treated equal. And if all men were equal then there is no need to list all of the various races.

it is obvioulsy no longer precise. once we're born it is a genetic lottery, a few of us come off greater than others. we ought to provide every person identical possibilities up to feasible however to believe that persons fairly are born identical... it is simply no longer the case.

You know what, I do not belive that all races are created equal. I do belive, however, that all races should be TREATED equally. We should recognize the differences, but we should treat them with equality. I think that was the point our founding fathers were trying to get across.

I somewhat agree with you about all the PC junk, but I truly believe that we are all born with the ability to do whatever we try hard enough to do. Unless there's a physical disability or something.
