I am playing a game at the moment called Crackdown, it involves loads of jumping around really high buildings and blocks of flats etc

When watching someone else play it, it gives me dreadful vertigo.

Probably because games are becoming more realistic all the time I guess.

Most definitely! I get it quite bad, not only when watching other people play, but when I am playing high "flying" games myself. I get it in real life quite bad as well. My sons think it is hilarious that I get it from a computer!

Ok I have a lot of problems with Vertigo. First thing is there is a difference between Vertigo and spinning. Vertigo is the feeling of not knowing what way is what up, down, sideways. This is mostly caused by inner ear infections or scares on the inner ear. Spinning can be due to poor circulation or standing up to quick or bending down in a funny position. Basically talk to your doctor about circulation problems, they should have some meds that will help. If you want to try exercises I would think cardio would help a lil to boost your blood pressure and circulation. There might be other problems with you health if you are having these problems like diabetes. Diabetes can cause problems with circulation.

Right now I'm playing V8 Supercars3. Sometimes when I'm just fooling around I'll go hell bent for leather into a wall or barrier, just to get that feeling of "ohno!!! this is going to hurt!" I also can't play Rallyesport challenge as all the turns make me nauseous, especially when I'm stoned. So I can appreciate that you get a feeling of vertigo from a game simulating high jumps. Get yourself a Sony Bravia television, it won't fix the vertigo, but the graphics will really pop.

If you're however struggling to increase you are straight and you're trying to get your hands over the edge, set Vert Shock to the check, an application you will think it is here https://tr.im/Jf0Do  and give it a try, you will be astonished of how fast you can become an animal hopper if you train the right way.
The program will not make you leap tens of thousands of situations since Vert Shock was made and used by real elite stage basketball players.
When it comes down to it, if you actually want to leap larger, you merely found the best system in the world to do so. Some other way could merely be a waste of time.

Good question (and I'm secretly glad it's not just me that gets this) - on Half Life 2 when you get to the bridge where you have to clamber about on the girders, I get a really funny (unpleasant) feeling and I dislike looking down.

Odd, huh? After all, it's just a computer game and I'm in no danger what-so-ever.
