Can civil tourist visit NDA dehradun??

I am planning for Dehradun. If I want to visit NDA as a tourist, is there any special permission require for this?? If we can visit easily, how can we reach there from Railway station

Thanks to security threats in this country, the defence establishments like NDA generally do not allow civil tourists save some special days. However if you know some people working there or get some contacts, then you can manage to enter.
While in Ddoon, try to visit DFRI(forest research) .It is a must see place that not many know about it. You could drop into Doon school also if you like. All these places are not faroff from station and can be covered bu auto/taxi
