The Asia Pacific Rim has the worlds best diving waters. I think you should go to those areas to seek for job. Thailand, Malaysia, Australia, Phillipines have lots of resorts and dive centers and not many have the expertise.. you'll sure get a job there. Good luck...

Check with the YMCA, many have scuba classes and they may just need an extra instructor.
Put an add in in the Sports section of a newspaper.
Go on a trip through South East Asia and check out the popular dive spots in Thailand & PI.

I have a lot of friends that decided to open their own dive shops. Also many resorts and cruise ships have openings for instructors. (I am a divemaster and worked in the field for 10 years)
