It seems some people got the hump with me I do apologise if i offended any camels. Oh and the ladies too.

First of all you need to find out the value of a camel. Curious to the last, I did a bit of searching on the internet and discovered that a healthy beast is worth about US$1000 and the typical dowry of an Egyptian Bedouin bride is about 20 camels, which prices her at US$20,000.
According to this story (link here: http://www.sfgate.com/cgi-bin/article.cgi?f=/n/a/2005/07/27/international/i162948D72.DTL) a Kenyan guy once offered Bill Clinton 40 goats and 20 cows for his daughter Chelsea. Unfortunately, my camels to goats exchange rate calculator is down at the moment, so I don't know what this equates to in real terms!!!!
If twenty camels is the average, I'd have to bear in mind that we're talking about a white European woman who would be a lot more desirable to an Arab than the average local bride, so I wouldn't want to sell myself short. I'd be demanding at least fifty camels!

Well Camels are like £3000 a head so I'd be wanting a lot of change, maybe just swap for a treck on the Camel. lol

You cant put a value on a woman in "camels." Camels dont do ironing for a start!

your intension seems mysterious
you seems preparing grounds for attacking those cultures who have/had camels in their evaluations
the question itself is biased and ethically wrong
wife is not a commodity whose value is being taken camel or dollars does not matter the total approach is objectionable
i do not want to report abuse though it is more than that

I got offered 3 camels for my GF in Tunisia.
Tried to swap her for a wrist watch but they were not having any of it
