i am a Conservative. I don't blame either party as to why the war is the way it is today. We found Saddam and he is dead. Iraq has a new president and trying to get it's new government running. This is a country that has been under Saddam's rule for over 20 yrs and has been living in fear. The civilians are happy that he is gone. But his followers are still around. Our troops are over there building homes, schools, hospitals and training a new Iraqian military from scratch. Our troops are rebuilding this country all while fighting suicide bombers. Instead of Conservatives and Liberals name calling each other here, we need to get along and help our troops & support all their efforts. We need to figure out how to get the Iraq military trained and have them knew that we won't always be there. How do we help them get properly trained and give them all the weapons they need to fight these suicide bombers? This is what the Conservatives and Liberals need to work on together. Not on who to blame who for what.
Our government is constantly been acting like 2nd graders. Name calling and belittling each other on national TV. Other countries hear our arguments and it only makes them laugh at us, and make some of them stronger. Grow up people! Our sons and daughters have volunteered their lives. We owe them!

Democrats could have blocked passage of the war authorization just like the republicans have blocked the Iraq bills since January.
They could have prevented passage of any of the legislation pushed through during the republican majority.
They could have blocked some of the neo-con appointments by Bush.
The Democrats bear responsibility because they didn't question, and they didn't try.
All incumbents that have voted for the war, funding for the war, the patriot, homeland security and military commissions acts should be voted out of office their next time at election.
No incumbents means no corruption training for freshman lawmakers, no old corporate debts or relationships, and maybe lawmakers that realize that passing laws that benefit their voters instead of the corporations are required for their continued employment.
End the illegal occupation of Iraq
BRING ALL OF TROOPS HOME NOW!!!

They can't. The Republicans have completely been in charge with all 3 measures of the Government by majority for the last 7 years. It is more Rush Limbaugh spin and lies they are currently spewing.

Do you seriously expect them to take responsibility for their war? Thank god the mid term elections were a referendum on Mr. Bush and his war. Credit or blame, is going where its due. 61 percent of Americans feel this whole thing was never worth it and we have 20 months to go until the Iraq War Administration leaves office.

Because the republicans believe in personal responsibility, and since it's not their fault, it must be the liberals.

orwellian, isn't it? repubs always say the opposite of what is true, in chorus again and again, so ppl will believe them. the iraq war proves that it works!
the dems can't do anything about the war other than cut off funding, but even a slim majority of americans oppose a quick pullout.
dems might as well let queen george dig himself a grave in iraq since this war will bury him.
