Ewww that reminds of the time some guy approached me and my friend and asked me if he could buy my socks for $50. He said he liked collecting ladies socks. That was creepy. But if it had been a lock of hair I might have done it. The socks thing was weird though. I mean I'd have to take off my shoes and just wait for him to hit me over the head with something while I was doing that. We were in a very deserted area and he was a big guy!

Crazy/creepy men have offered to give me money to touch my hair before and I said "no" and kept walking. It was just to weird and I didn't trust them. I wouldn't cut off a chuck of my hair for $$, especially if it was only $50. It's also creepy if you think about how you just gave them your DNA sample.
A friend of mine used to sell her dirty panties to strangers over the internet. She was getting $50/pair. It's easy money but I don't want to satisfy creepy men, plus, there's DNA in the panties too (gross but true)

Get real! "Some creepy guy?" Do what I do, I have my stylist donate my locks every couple years to "Locks of Love." Charitable org. that uses it to make wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy. Much more rewarding to the heart!

I would sacrifice a small piece, but not for $50. I would for $100. Every girl has her price!

Walk away with a smile, equally creepy, and all of my hair intact on my head. There are too many freaks out there, why tempt them?

make him sign a waiver or something - and charge way more than that (creepy tax), and yes i would. obviously the sexes would be reversed but the principle remains the same.
