If "shapers1" is a doctor I'll eat my hat. Anal sex does NOT cause AIDS and anyone with a fifth grade education let alone a medical degree should realize that. AIDS/ HIV is the work of a virus, one that used to be classed as HTLV3 but might have a different designation now. Regardless of that you have to understand that sex, any form of sex, anal, oral or vaginal, can be a means of transmission of the virus and if you take Africa into consideration there have been more cases of AIDS transmitted vaginally than any other way.

So far as any health consequences of having anal sex, I'll spell it out for you in very simple terms. There aren't any. None, zero, zilch, nada! So long as you use a little common sense, and some lubrication. you aren't going to have any trouble. Anal isn't any more dangerous than any other form of sex so far as contracting an STD goes. You CAN contract something and maybe something deadly through anal but you can do the same with vaginal sex. If you don't know and trust the person then it isn't very wise to be having sex, any form of sex, with them.

Anal sex will not cause you to lose bowel control and have to wear a diaper for the rest of your life. It will not cause you to be come an anal sex addict and forsake all other forms of sex. If you don't want to do it then that is your right and nobody has a right to give you any grief about it. If you do, then that's fine too. I can tell you that I do enjoy anal sex and that I've enjoyed it for many years now and have suffered no ill effects. I do know how to relax and enjoy the sensations and I suspect that makes all the difference in the world.

Do make up your own mind and don't listen to the old wives tales that are told about anal. It's just another way for a couple to express their love for one another. Nothing more and nothing less. There isn't any need to make it any more complicated than that.

In a most extreme case, you could tear the membrane in your rectal area. But that's unlikely. If you have anal sex, or want to, take the proper precautions. Just because you can't get pregnant, doesn't mean it's okay not to use a condom. Diseases and things are more likely spread through anal sex, because you will most likely bleed, but to help prevent pain and bleeding/tearing, use lots and lots of lubrication. And don't do it rough, that is definitely not to be tried for your first time. As long as you take proper precautions, and share with your doctor that you have had anal sex, so they can make sure you're okay there, then you should be fine.

If done without proper lubrication, a tear in the membrane can occur. In addition to being extremely painful, if it's serious then feces can escape the large intestine and move into the abdominal cavity. This can cause serious infections.

However, if done with proper lubrication, anal sex can be very pleasurable. Just be careful and listen to your partner since it can still be painful during the beginning.

Also, never go from anus to vagina since you can transfer bacteria to the vagina (resulting in infections). It's recommended that if the guy doesn't use a condom, to urinate afterwards (although you SHOULD USE A CONDOM for the same reasons you shouldn't go from anus to vagina).

if the man is too thick, there can be medical consequences (inability to "hold it in"...)

generally though, it's fine and there are no medical consequences as long as you use protection.

never put the penis from an anus into a vagina or there will be high risk of infection due to anal bacteria

"Anal sex exposes the participants to hazards of two kinds: infections, due to the high number of infectious microorganisms not found elsewhere on the body, and physical damage to the anus and the rectum due to their vulnerability. An insufficient amount of lubricant can make it especially painful or injurious."

take a doc's advise ...
ANAL SEX IS THE NUMBER 1 CAUSE OF HIV /AIDS IN THE WORLD....

NOTE: Anal canal is small orifice and not used to accomodate the fully errect penis...more probability to tear and BLEED....once there is bleed ...blood exposure can result in HIV infection ....
