I'll be visiting Philly -Jefferson University Hospital, S 10th Street, Philadelphia for an educational training programme for 2 wks. My working hours wud b 8am-5pm...I'll hav to leave my 10-yr old daughter behind..Can u suggest some activities and tours for her for the time im not there or if not, any nanny agency at affordable rates?my range for the nanny would be $50 per day or less.Will it be safe to leave her alone at the hotel from 8-5??HELP ASAP!!!

You might want to bring a relative with you. Although there are things that your daughter can do, you don't want her in a strange city alone. There is really nothing she can do alone for all of those hours. Why would you even want to leave her alone or with a stranger for that matter? You can take your changes by leaving her in a hotel alone, but what if she gets bored and wanders out? Maybe you should change your program until you can get care for your daughter.

i dont realistically think you can get a legit or trustworthy nanny for $50/day. And no...I would not leave a 10 year old alone in a hotel room all day long. In my opinion, you are asking for something terrible to happen to your child.
