A beam of light is an incident that is limited to "C"
A shadow is a result and is a lack of substance or existence.
It is not subject to the principal that limits the speed of light.
Parallax would allow a shadow to exceed the speed of light, again because the result is not a physical incident.

A moving shadow is the locus of arriving photons, not the arriving photons themselves. If the distance between the moving object casting a shadow and the point of the shadow is large enough the locus will be moving faster than the speed of light.

For instance, imagine shing a flash light into space. Now start to rotate slightly. Far enough away the end of the flashlight beam is moving faster than the speed of light even though the actual photons are not.
