Ok, help is here...need some info first...GM master tech....could you tell if this blinking sound is more like a click or a buzz, then just tell me where you hear the sound the loudest..I need to know where it is coming from? try and narrow it down...but anyway I am going to make this wild guess...Your emergency flasher switch, or relay could be stuck, when the contact on the relay is not made, it continues to click until, it burns out...or makes contact..but when you apply the brakes, the circuit is broken leaving it without any power supply..I almost guess you will find the hazzard switch or the relay bad....Hope you find this information helpfull...

if you have your emergency flashers on they will stop blinking when the brake is used. find emergency flasher and pull it out and see if thats the problem

its possible that this is a maintenance indicator noise, perhaps your brake fluid is low or your brake linings need replaced and it only detects these when you are braking

Find yoyur flasher unit and remove it. if the sound goes away, you have somewhere to start.
