American football or rugby?..... or are both games just as aggressive as each other? and do the rules differ in both games?

Both games are just as aggressive and the rules do vary. I was a football player and have irreparable damage now---along with degenerative rheumatoid arthritis, but it probably is worse for rugby players due to lack of pads (protection). Hell, I lost count of concussions after 28 or so!

They wear less pads in Rugby but I don't know allot about it. Id say Aussie rules football is the most nuts thing Ive seen though.

American footbal uses tons of saftey equiptment and still has injurys just like rugby... both are tough contact sports.

Rugby. They don't wear any protection whatsoever and do way more tackling. Yes the rules are different.

Rugby probably cos they don't wear so much protective clothing. As for Rules...that would take all day

Well, I don't know, I don't watch either. But seeing as Rugby would use less protective gear, I'd say Rugby?
